Hello fellow foodies, so other than yesterday being Grammy’s Sunday, it was also Food Truck Sunday on my side of town. @FoodTruckBazaar Once again met behind the Fashion Square Mall on Colonial Dr, Orlando FL.
This time it was just a quick stop, but still finger licking goooood.
As always @TwistedCubanMFT #TheTwistedCuban truck did not disappoint with their fresh mojo roast pork tacos, topped with creamy yet crunchy coleslaw , BBQ guava sauce and a light cilantro lime dressing. Of course we couldn’t leave the Spanish food truck without a side order of Tostones, which were crisps and golden to perfection, also served with a mojo [dipping] sauce.
I have been craving seafood for more than a good while now, to be more specific to my crave; soft shell crab. Which is exactly what I found in this array of Food Trucks, there is always something for EVERYONE.
I can only describe my level of excitement when I walked passed other fellow food enthusiast enjoying this sort of BLT. As a leaned over, almost dipping my head into their plastic plates looking at their perfectly put together dish in desperate need to know I asked what they were having and where did they get it from.
@5gastronomy food truck as they pointed ahead, I speed walked my way through the crowds finally reaching an ever bigger crowd waiting for their ordered to be called.
The aroma was almost speaking to me, as a lady in front took what seemed to be the lobster mac n cheese which, I am definitely having next time around.
Like a kid in a candy store I quickly got to the front and ordered my soft shell crab BLT; which is two soft shell crabs in a kaiser roll with this sort of tomato confit , bacon bits and fresh lettuce, garnished with pommery aioli mustard. It was and believe me when I say this “to die for”. Seriously, can not wait to try the rest of their menu. I did also order a side of fries which where pretty good, but a lil salty for my palette.
Overall, like always satisfied with the work of @thefoodtruckbazaar @thedailycity and their amazingly tasty trucks.
